As part of its strategic vision, TTS is setting up a first of its kind galvanized steel transmission tower manufacturing plant in Nigeria with the capacity to produce up to 10,000 MT of galvanised steel lattice towers per year in its first phase.
The plant will specialize in tower design, engineering, tower testing, and tower manufacturing and construction, and will be positioned to handle transmission and distribution projects of varying scale and size. It will be a first class internationally rated facility comparable to similar facilities all over the world. Trennco Towers and Steel will drastically reduce the almost 100% reliance of imports of Transmission towers from foreign countries – saving significant forex, creating local capacity and mass employment in the country.

Most importantly TTS will serve to ensure Transmission infrastructure assets are developed and deployed faster in country, with a corresponding result been a more robust and developed Transmission sector, which will serve to increase access to electricity across the country. It is strategically located in the Lekki Free Trade Zone in Lagos, Nigeria, this location will go a long way also to increasing inter-African trade in the transmission tower markets in the rest of Africa due to the proximity of the newly opened Lekki Deep Sea Port.
